Yvonne Sanchez is a Polish/Cuban recording artist, producer, songwriter, singer who resides in Prague, CZ. Yvonne started her career as a percussionist for the legendary Jozef Skrzek (PL). Not long after that experience Yvonne Sanchez moved to Prague, CZ where she began to get recognized as an upcoming jazz artist. She performed with top Czech jazz musicians and recorded her first album entitled “Invitation” Cube Metier 2002. This album was embraced and received great reviews being nominated for jazz album of the year at the annual Czech Music Awards. The same year Yvonne Sanchez received the acclaimed Jazz Vocalist of the Year award by the Czech Jazz Society.

Yvonne Sanchez started work on her second album in 2007. This time around Yvonne would compose, perform and produce her new record which she entitled “My Garden” Warner Music 2008. Within its first year of release “My Garden” was nominated for Album of the Year at the Annual Czech Music Awards as well as Jazz Album of the Year and reached gold sales.

Yvonne Sanchez third album was recorded live this time a duo project with Pedro Tagliani a brilliant Brazilian acoustic guitarist. The album entitled “Songs About Love”. Supraphon 2011. The album contained rearranged renditions of known love songs as well as original compositions from Yvonne Sanchez with a touch of bossa and samba.
